A La LUNA LOVE STORY
Matt and Nikala Stewart set out to create something spectacular when they built their Casuarina home.
The six-bedroom home at 749 Casuarina Way is known as ‘La Luna’, a name which holds special meaning for the couple.
“I proposed to Nikala on the Caribbean Island of Grenada on a magic beach called La Luna,” Mr Stewart said.
“Our dream was to recreate the love we had for each other, nature and family.
“This drew us to Southern Casuarina due to the quiet cul-de-sac, mature vegetation, sounds of the ocean and close proximity to Caba.”
The couple are now hoping their dream home will set a new suburb record, with price expectations of $5.5 million.
LJ Hooker Witheriff Group agent Carol Witheriff said the home would appeal to a broad range of buyers and particularly suit multi-generational families and people who work from home.
“It’s a very unique property and hopefully going to achieve a record sale for Casuarina beachfront,” Ms Witheriff said.
“Their brief to the architect was to bring the outside into the home, reflecting their love of nature.”
The property, completed in 2019, sits on 704 square metres and boasts five-bedrooms plus a study and multi-purpose room, as well as a large outdoor entertaining area which includes a pool, spa, barbecue area and waterproof television.

The couple are selling to move to a rural location with separate accommodation for extended family.
The current highest recorded sale for Casuarina was 3 Beech Lane which sold for $5.3 million in September 2022, via Witheriff Group’s Nick Witheriff and Peta Hunt.
